Runtime observation
Dynamic analysis validates or disproves hypotheses from static analysis. Use an emulator or dedicated test device and a test account/data set.
- Record the app version and test environment.
- Observe filesystem, network and process behavior.
- Correlate runtime events with static code locations.
- Reset the lab between experiments when state could affect results.
