A production Android release needs a repeatable build process and a clear ownership model for signing credentials.

• Create and securely store your upload/signing credentials.
• Increment versionCode for every Play upload.
• Verify app icon, screenshots, privacy policy and data disclosures.
• Test release builds, not only debug APKs.
• Keep a recovery plan for signing and source backups.
